There must be a way to do them on the computer rather than handwriting.

I handwrote mine because we are only having 90 people so it didn't take too long... and I have a good enough handwriting so that it looks nice. But I know that at Michael's and A.C. Moore they sell nice placecards that you can type on.

I did... I bought a nice gold marker and handwritten all of them (we had about 90 guests as well)... it was a pain, many ended up in a garbage but they looked soo nice

I typed them up and cut them out. If your looking to use tent style placecards or frame placecards, they can be typed out. I think Michael's has them.

I'm having them done by a friend who does calligraphy. I've done everything myself so far and need some help at this stage

I bought placecards that you can print out using the computer. They're just ivory tent place cards. Found them at Staples, (they were out of them at both Michael's and A.C. Moore's....). Looks pretty easy (I say that now...haven't done them yet)

Hand wrote mine with the same nice pen that I handwrote the addresses for invitations...it wasn't bad since I did them as the RSVPs came in and later added the table number.

I bought scrapbook paper in an ivory color & someone sent me a template & I am makign them myself, I think the hardest & longest part will be cutting them out. I bought the ones from AC Moore but I didn't like how when you punch them out it will have little rigid edges.
I have been making so much stuff for this wedding I feel I should start doing this for others!!!

We did something different. We ordered wedding M&M's and some personalized with our names and dates. Wrapped them in tulle and tied ribbon around them at the top. We printed everyone's names and table numbers on ivory craft paper and cut them out using a paper slicer. We then cut larger pieces of Burgundy paper for the background and glued the beige to it. Punched two holes in the paper at the top and tied them to the ribbon on the M & M bags. They came out really nice.

Thanks, Not sure if DH took pictures of them. He takes Pictures of everything though so it's possible. I have to get out of here to go to Jersey on business but I will look when I get back and post if I find them.

Dina and I bought placecards (made by Gartner Studios) that are computer printable...Michael's and Staples has them. Mine had a silver border, not sure about Dina's . Printed in Bickham script (pics in review) and it was under $5 for all!

Thankfully this is another goodie that WM provides, so no need to go out and purchase them... Another thing I'm very thankful for is my FSIL. She truly enjoyed doing the calligraphy on the invites that she volunteered to do them on our place cards too! Gotta love her!
