I personally like casual but if your affair is more formal go with Mr. and Mrs. John Doe

I think it depends on what kind of wedding you're having. Is it formal? if so then do mr and mrs.

I can't stand Mr and Mrs... looks like Mrs. only exist under the husband's name.

We did casual and our wedding was formal.... we had many Mr. & Mrs. Michael LAST NAME and others that would not have worked the other way.

I'm pretty sure I did a modern day formal.

I CAN'T STAND IT when things are addressed only with the man's first name. Women only changed their last name; she doesn't become an appendage of her husband and should be recognized as a regular person with her own first name.
