Ok I havent done anything except get engaged (that only took 5 years ) and I know the guest list is at 160 right now.
I am going to decide between these places for the reception:
Riviera Russo's on the Bay Jericho Terrace Westbury Manor Floral Terrace
If anyone has any extra info on any of these places and you want to share, please do...

i disagree we saw the riviera set up for 160 and yes for the cocktail inside it is tight but if its outside its fine and we are planningon only us sitting on the dance florr in the corner so there is more than enough room to dance! We are hoping for 135 or 140

Also figure ~20% fallout from your list. If you invite 125, not all are going to show.
I've been to a wedding at the Riviera - it is a little small for 150+...but they put on a great spread!

I think the Riviera is fine for 125. They have a wonderful presentation & the setting is really lovely as well.
I also second the Nort Ritz though.... if you are still accepting new entries...and, of course, the Harbor Club was magnificent

FYI: We're having our reception at Floral Terrace on a Sunday and the min. is 150. The place is beautiful though and we fell in love with it. Good Luck

You might want to check out Villa Lombardi's. After a 20 place search, we finally found it. It's a nice size room, and cocktail area.
Also Chateau Briand is nice if you are looking for something more contemporary...if that's the right word for it.

Westbury Manor is beautiful outside where they have the cocktail hour. There's peacocks out there when you walk, how cool is that. They were too expensive for me though. It's beautiful inside as well.

Try Timberpoint CC. They are doing rnovations and the room is perfect for your size. It is our top of 4 places.

Hi, I just booked the Floral Terrace on Saturday and I was very happy with it. They offer alot for a very reasonable price. The reason why I went there was because I knew of many people that either had there wedding or have been to a wedding there and I heard that the food is great and the service is also great. They only do one wedding so all 4 of there floors are yours. The place is very big. I picked a Friday because I had to have 175 for a Friday and 200 for a Saturday and I didn't have 200 so I went with a Friday. It is a 6 hour wedding, The venetian hour takes place outside the main room in a big hallway which I liked because the wedding doesn't have to stop for those who want to keep on dancing. Also for guest that arrive early, they serve champagne and strawberries in the Garden Room. I was very impressed! Go take a look I think you will find that it is a great place!

The floral terrace is great they really do offer so much more then alot of the other places we looked at. The people you dealwith are so helpful! And the place is stunning! MY heart skiped a beat the first time i walk in! And the price is reasonable.
