My fiance and I are looking for a unique place to get married in either Nassau or Sufflok County. We really want to run away to get married to avoid the high costs of a wedding, but have decided to just have the ceremony, then run off on our honeymoon. We will have a party when we return.
Any Suggestions?????
Do you want a Church ceremony? Can I suggest having your ceremony with immediate family/close friends and then maybe having lunch before rushing off to the airport? The Watermill might do something like that for you.
What about Vanderbilt Planetarium in Centerport, Mantauk Lighthouse, or the Planting fields???
I think you should have cake and a toast after the wedding though...
It doesn't matter indoor or outdoor, just some place nice - we'd like something unique.
The Montauk Lighthouse is a great idea...but it's just not us. I think 'us' would be more of a park like setting. I love the Grounds of the Vanderbilt...I guess something like that is what we are looking for. Thanks for the all help!!
