Blue Moon is a Pizzera and Restaurant. Its one of my favorite places and its soooo good.
Edited to Say that this place is a little more casual but they also have a full bar area.

Second Blue Moon .... great reviews on this restaurant. The food is great!
If you want more of a bar scene ... Churchills on Park ave ... good food, good scene!
I also like Max's ... a little more pricey, but better bar than Churchhill's ... it can get very crowded there on weekends!

Re: Places to go in Rockville Center???
I lived in RVC for many years before my hubby and I bought our house. There is no shortage of places to get food. As a matter of fact, I think it has the most eateries per square mile than any other place in Nassau County (I read that somewhere).... Here are my suggestions:
International Delights on Sunrise Highway is a cozy little place probably more known for ice-cream and desserts, but you can have a great lunch/dinner with great dessert that is inexpensive and good.
Blue Moon I am mixed here. Their pizza is good, but last time I was there, we got two pitchers of soda and they charged us $13 for it while our fully loaded pizza was about $9. Total rip-off, but the food was good.
Croxley's Ale House Lots of beer and great burgers and wings.
Rigatoni Small and often crowded, but great food.
Churchill's Owned by teh same people who own the St. James in Mineola and BK Sweeneys. Ok, wasn't thrilled last time I was there with the food, but the crowd is good.
Oh there's more, but they don't pop into my head right away.
If you stick towards Sunrise Highway and Merrick Road between Village Ave and Morris Ave, you'll find something. There is also a great place in the Home Goods Shopping Center that I can't think of the name right now..... on North Village Ave....

We love Croxleys but there are plenty of places to sit and eat and drink.

Also Lily Flanigan's right on Sunrise. Better in the summer though, they have an outdoor area.
