Re: Places to go out in Huntington area?
What are you looking for? are you also looking for dinner spots?
A new place that opened last year is Blue Honu - it's awesome - Hawaiin food- great atmostphere- cool drinks, great place for drinks, dinner and the sunday jazz brunch is great!
Then there's Meehan's,Finley's, Rose&Thisle for your standard Irish bars - Finley's has bands and a great outdoors section - all 3 also serve food.

Ditto to everything tanbride posted - Blue Hanu is really great. The Margarita Grill is also a fun place to eat (really good margaritas!). As far as bars go, I like Finlays, but if you are looking for someplace without a cover charge, try Christophers. If you are looking for a club-type atmosphere, there's CoCos - Not my style but some people love it. Chesterfields (I think it is still there) is a jazz club on the corner of Main St. and 110 (NY Ave). Wow - So much there! If you just go to town and walk around, you'll find something that suits you -

Are you looking to go out this Saturday night? The only reason I ask is because my girlfriend is actually singing at Finley's tomorrow and a bunch of people are meeting me there from work.

There's also Red or Lola. (A bit dressier than Margarita Grille.)
Rose & Thistle is now a sports bar. I don't know the new name.

Wow- I didn't know Rose& Thistle changed names! As for Finley's - it has a good weekend crowd and can get VERY crowded especially in the summer- they have very good music! LOVE Blue Honu - the food is so good and the mixed drinks are soo yummy - they have the best cosmos there!
Thanks for the tips on Red and Margaritta - I have been dying to try there too!

Enjoy Blue Hanu - You'll love it. I would definitely recommend making a reservation. If you're there tonight, maybe I'll see you (I'm supposed to meet some friends for dinner) - Have fun!
