I was looking for my mother to find a place to volunteer. I was thinking of seeing if there is a place/hospital where she could volunteer to rock babies. Does anyone know of a place where she could do this? THANKS!

Where are you located? When I lived in Queens, there was a place next door to the church, called 'Mama's House' or something like that, where they have babies and toddlers of broken families there untli the mommies get better. and they were always looking for volunteers.
try doing some online searches.

thanks! I'll pass this info. along to her. She's probably looking for Nassau or would consider Eastern Queens. I've tried doing searches on this but can't come up with anything.

Try calling local hospitals-- I know that when my friends baby was in the NICU there were volunteers who would come and hold the babies since the parents had to work and coul;dnt be there 24/7
