places to live on LI

we live in queens but are looking to move this summer, I work in Queens and he works in Huntington, so we need to find something central....

We would like to rent an apt in a house maybe, somewhere close to LIRR and highway!

I am originally from eastern LI so I am not too familiar with Nassau County!

Any help would be appreciated! TIA

Wantagh-- its a little south.. about 20 min from huntington right up the 135 and theres the trains staion there-right near the southern state wantagh pky and 135 which take you north to the other highways easily
