Places to stay on the east end that won't break the bank?

Hi all..

Any idea's for early April? It's hard to find Hamptons area hotels online.. all my searches give me useless info..

I'd actually like to stay on the beach if possible.. It doesn't have to be in the Hamptons of course, but since I've never been there, I'd like to stay close enough to check it out..

Hey,
Why dont you forum 'wood2be' she manages a resort in East Hampton and its less than 1/2mile to the village. Most B& B's in EH are expensive even in the off season....Good luck!
