We are going to take our engagement pictures this spring (we are planning to anyway---around april) and we can pick our location... Any suggestions of where to take the pics?
We are using DUET photography....

My photographer said he would suggest a few places. Did you ask Duet? I know lots of people have taken nice ones at Sunken Meadow,

they said that they have some 'typical' places but taht we can do ANYTHING WE WANt.. so just looking for some suggestions

i took mine in dumbo, by the brooklyn bridge! i loved the way it photographed! I used duet also..my pics are in my album!

Well it really would depend on the look you are going for. DH and I went to the Roslyn duck pond with Woo's team. Pics are in my album . I remember one bride who went to Atlantis. HTH

A duck pond is always cute, the beach, Indian Island park out east has some beautiful little areas... and I always love pictures in the city! let me think! :)

we are doing ours in cannonball park in bklyn and maybe in coney island. we wanted to take e-pics where we'll be able to take identical pics on our wedding day.

We did Avalon Park in Stony Brook...it was a really nice location and it will be beautiful in April

If you're looking to do the pics on LI, Sunken Meadow is very pretty, if you decided the city I'd say Central Park, or under the Brooklyn Bridge (I just went to a wedding there and it had very scenic city views). HTH
