Places to take pics near the Thatched Cottage

I am getting married in March at TC. Does anyone have any suggestions of nearby spots to take nice pics? TIA!

try the vanderbilt museum. its only a few minutes up north.

Hey, I had my reception at thatched cottage and my ceremony and pictures at the vanderbilt mansion. I loved my pictures there

I was in a friends wedding last year at Thatched Cottage; we also took pics at Vanderbilt. Its right up the road. The TC also has very pretty grounds for taking pictures

Thanks everyone! The Vanderbilt sounds like a very good idea. TC does have nice grounds also. I really hope the weather lets us get some nice pics outside!

Past the Vanderbilt is Centerport Beach, a Town beach which you can get into without fee at that time of year. Northport Village is also very good. We did our shots at the town dock in Nport on the way from our Church to our hall.

my sister took her pics their...I grew up in northport...it is so beautiful...great pictures..i know is aid it before but i so recommend it here!

We were going to do this...but we got married in Sept and had flowers and plenty of sunshine..so we just got ALLLL our pics done at the thatched cottage...but this is a good idea if you are having a winter wedding!!!

I live over here so I would agree w/the Vanderbilt and also the town of Northport by the docks there is a nice park w/a gazebo.

Also the town beach is another opition - If your lucky the Bridge will be done in centerport by than and that might be a nice spot as well.
