Ok I am moving to Astoria soon and i wanted to know if anyone goes to any Planet Fitness? Are the machines normal?? I mean the gym cost $20 a mth and I pay $65 right now, what is the catch??

LOL. My FH goes there and it's great for him because they are 24 hours and he's night owl. No catch, they just opened in january and are trying to drum up business. PLus they are no frills so you save.

The machines are normal, and they have a 30 minute circuit area. they just don't have any classes.

I joined the gym within the last week...I definately think its worth the price, just dont expect anything like a pool or classes...Its a basic gym with weight machines, a small selection of free weights and your typical machines. For the price you cant beat it...
