Planning a Bachelorette Party

Planning a Bachelorette Party

OK, I figured I would ask the experts. I am the MOH for my friend's wedding. We're planning a bachelorette night out on January 18th which is a friday. I've run into some problems. The Awesome 80's prom is only on Saturday nights. Lucky Chengs & Lips will only seat you have dinner there. I've heard the food is awful and since I love food so much, I wanted to take my friend to a great NYC restaurant that she's never been to. (She lives in Cali and her friends are flying in from West Coast.)
My question is, what to do after a great dinner? She hates strippers and doesn't like clubs. Should I just risk it and hang at the bar at lucky chengs or lips?

THANKS!!!

there are lots of awesome little bars around the city if she's not into the club thing....also, is $$$ an issue??? Tao is an AMAZING restaurant in the city...pretty well known(it's been on sex & the city and stuff) but it can ge a LITTLE pricey. But TOTALLY worth it. The atmosphere & the food are amazing... You can go on their website and look at their menu & stuff to get an idea. Just google Tao restaurant New York and it should come up. Also, if u want - I have SUCH a fun bachlorette checklist! throw me some FM if u'd like a copy...it made my night so much fun! Also, if ur staying over in the city, I've heard Beauty Bar is really fun...it's a place that gives 10pedis with their signature martinis..that might even be fun to do before dinner. anyways, good luck!

Yes, I love TAO! It's good times. Thank you for the tips. I was thinking of taking the girls to a restaurant called 'Alta' which lets you order the ENTIRE menu for 330 bucks. It's tapas and yummy. I was just trying to brainstorm some fun things to do afterwards. Beauty Bar is totally fun as well! Thanks for the tip!

BTW, loved your wedding dress. Was it a Marisa?

How about Hogs & Heiffers? We went there for my cousins bachelorrette party and it's fun. We danced on the bar and got free shots.

And if you're into BBQ, it's awesome!
