Those bars are in the West End and are all in the same general vicinity, just a couple of blocks from the beach.

I'm afraid my partying days are long over so I'm not sure about other places! I know there is a bar right at the end of the boardwalk, but I've never been in there.

When is it? depending on when, you can also come over the bridge and go to Paddy McGees. Montego Bay, Coyote, and Bridgeview.

Otherwise the West End is your best bet and just bar hop.

The BP will be in July so we are hoping for nice sunny weather. We are going to stay at my parents' apartment that is on the ocean on Shore road. So beach during the day and dinner and bar hopping at night. Thanks for all the suggestions girls!!!!

in July this might be more fun- since they are all outside

you can take a cab- it's really cheap

I wish there was like a party boat or something to do during the day... I am going to do some research.

where are you doing dinner???

You should go to Corbin and Reynolds in Long Beach....great food! Tell them you are for a bachelorette party and they will give you a good table.

I live in Long Beach, it's an awesome place to come home to every day! Sounds like you're staying a little bit longer than for the BP, so here's some more 'insider info':

Duke Falcons is a Zagat rated restaurant on Park Ave and they have interesting food, everything is super yummy. It's not the same-old same-old. Make reservations in advance though, it fills up quick on Friday or Saturday nights.

Corbin and Reynolds is the big new steakhouse. A good ol' American meat-and-potatoes kind of place. We've eaten there and the food was good, although the menu was typical.

For breakfast, sandwich lunch, good coffee it's got to be Max Bialystok. The owner is a doll, they're great people. The best diner is the Long Beach Diner.

Then of course there's Cold Stone Creamery for yummy ice cream. Or you could go down the block for a TCBY/Mrs. Fields.

If you like Japanese, Himawari hibachi is a great spot.

And if you like mexican, you must try Ay! Carumba right across from the train station. We get quesadillas from them every week.

If you want to know anything else about LB, send me a FM. I would be happy to share!
