OK, we're probably going to book our venue tomorrow depending on the deal they are willing to strike, and I can NOT go any further than that without a planning binder.
Anyone have a favorite they'd like to recommend? Last time I went to the bookstore there were like 12 of them, most of them were shrink wrapped so I don't know which is going to be most helpful.
Thanks!

Re: Planning Binder
This is the one I got and I really liked it!WEDDING BINDER
It has pictures, checklists, folders to hold contracts, etc. I looked through all they had at the bookstore and I liked this the best! Good luck!

Re: Planning Binder
If you do a registry at JCPenney they send you a link to a coupon that you can print out and bring to JCPenney and you can get a free planner from customer service. I did that just to get the planner and never finished my registry lol.

Re: Planning Binder
I highly recommend Mindy Weiss's wedding organizer. I don't think that you can get them in stores (I never saw it there). I looked at so many wedding planners and finally decided to splurge on this one. It is a beautiful planner and will be a very nice keepsake!! It's definitely on the pricier side...but I got mine from a seller on ebay for about $40 cheaper than what it is listed for. You should definitely check it out!
Here is the link to the planner listed on Mindy's site:
I just made my own at work... just a regular binder and I made tabs for each section. Any inspirations or idea's I get I just shove in there.
I know Borders Books & Music has a section with planning binders... maybe Barnes and Nobles too

Re: Planning Binder
I bought this one and I absolutely love it. It makes it very easy to keep everything organized and neat. Even though this is the Amazon link, I did purchase mine from Borders.
I made my own. I just picked up a cute 3 ring binder and added dividers and page protectors. I have sections for inspiration for hair, dresses, flowers, etc., and tabs for contracts and all that fun stuff.

I have this one too! I love it...it has folders in each section which i put all contracts and notes. I use plastic cover sheets to put magazine pics that i cut out.

Re: Planning Binder
I made my own. It's just a large 3 ring binder with tabs, folders, and sheet protectors.
I used a online template for a lot of lists and things of that nature. Anything else I made myself in word.
I think it's more personal and I have everything in my way. I bought a few but there was always something wrong or something missing or it had too much of something. Its probably bcuz i'm picky
I'm the type of person who needs a template. I didn't want to make my own binder because I don't know what needs to go in it. PLUS I'm a full time law student with an internship and a job so I need shortcuts!
Honestly, I'd really just love if a wedding planner would do all this stuff for me, but FH said no wedding planner
I made my own. Im big on organization, and it was easier for me to have one exactly how i wanted it. i brought the binder and dividers at staples, and it cost me less then 10 bucks.
