So I live in CA right now, but I'm from NY and all my family and the FH's family are in NY/PA so we decided to get married at CLM, and I'm really happy about it, but it makes planning a little trickier to plan, is anyone else a long distance planner??

It is annoying but I did a lot of research and narrowed down choices to two or 3 max per vendor so I don't have to meet eith everyone and their mother.
Just call around and try to ask as many questions on the phone. You may be able to cross out people right off the bat because of prices, personality etc.
Then you can visit a bunch in one shot when you visit your family. Or you may trust a friend or family member to meet with vendors for you too if you really can't make it here

im from Long island but im planning from upstate NY where i am living now...and thats even a pain sometimes. im trying to do as much as i can on the weekends that i can go home and im even gonna find my dress somewhere close to me so i dont have to go home to LI for fittings and such.
