so... we are paying for the wedding ourselves, and we are getting some really good deals and using friends, but GOOD LORD it still costs money!!! anyone underestimate how much they were going to spend or overestimate???
Oh gosh do i understand about money and budget. At first I thought i couuld spend 10000! HAHA I def underestimated!
I knew what I was getting myself into but I am still trying to cut cost where I can. I can live without a lot of little things so I think I will stay within budget.
i'm slightly under....but when all is said and done including the honeymoon, and shopping/food on the honeymoon i think we'll hit our budget right on....so i'm happy originally i thought we would go a bit over with the honeymoon so we're both thrilled!
I just wont overspend, I refuse to. If its too expensive we just don't need it.
FH's grandfather initially offered to pay for a honeymoon to Italy but then he wanted to plan the whole thing for us (control freak!) and although it was a nice gesture, we'd rather plan our own honeymoon so now we think we'll have to pay for the honeymoon ourselves so we're going over what we originally planned. But if you don't count the honeymoon, we're right on target!
Including HM we'll be in budget
we're a little over....but not waaaaaaaaaaaaaay over...it's a do-able amount so we haven't been too bothered by it. But regardless...i still never thought we'd be spending so much on ONE DAY!!!!!!!!
we are slightly over our orignial budget...but then again i've never planned a wedding, and im the first one in my family to do so, so we didn't really have a good estimate...
