Do you think they really worth an extra 900-1300? I always liked the idea of a montage; I think it's sweet, but at weddings I never pay attention to the zap shots.
Are you having one? Do you like them when you go to other weddings?
I'm thinking I'd rather do a photo booth. My mom says how it adds so much to the wedding, but I dont know...

I think it's a nice idea if you can fit it into your budget. The zap shots are nice bc you will get candid shots of a lot of your guests. It's like having a friend with a digital camera. I really like pics so I'm excited about this option. The photobooth is a nice option too though. I'm going with the plasma tvs.

Re: Plasma Tvs
We're having both... the zap shots and montage on the 50' plasmas and we just booked the party booth for the wedding. I love this stuff and it only adds to the festivities. I do enjoy peaking at the montages at weddings...very sweet.

heres my probelm with that. I am also booked at the CLM and I am interested in seeing the set up, cause when I went to the food tasting they were facing the windows and the people behind them couldnt see anything. They are great to have I mean to take pictures and do the montage. Are you having a day wedding or night wedding?

Re: Plasma Tvs
honestly...i havent been to a wedding without them...i personally love it and couldn't picture my wedding without the montage or plasma's with zap shots
i don't think it's the end all be all though...if it doesn't fit your budget, then don't do it..you could always do a table of photos of you and FH as kids and then some photos of your relationship!

I've actually never been to a wedding WITh thhem so I'm worried it will have a bar mitvah feel. My hall actually has retractable plasmas, and I am making my own montage, so it's not costing anything

Re: Plasma Tvs
I know a lot of people are doing the photo montage, but I really don't think that my family would care. I'm just picturing them drunk and confused about too many things going on at once.

Re: Plasma Tvs
we did both
i looved when the montage played while everyone was seated for dinner..and the zap shots were great..it was alot of action shots so i was happy
the photobooth was a huuuuuge hit and by far the best money we spent so if u had to pick i would do the photobooth
good luck

I am in the same boat. I am booked at CLM too. I want the zap shots, but the some of the prices are an extra $1300 for the TV's and the shots. I don't mind either way if we have the montage (baby pics etc) but i want the zap shots! lol Jackie and I ahve been debating this over FM lol The zap shots are blowing my DJ budget totally, but I want them. I am meeting with a DJ tonight, the first of three so far!

Wow this is a great point!! I went to the tasting and I know what you mean. The people by the bar have no view of the plasmas. This is making me lean even more towards not having it. Where do you think they set up the photobooth at CLM? By the back bar area??
My wedding is 5-10 (might extend it an hour longer) on a Sunday night. Yours?

I think you'll be happier tonight with the quote you get for zapshots. Also, High Voltage. You might have recommended them to me hahaha Good luck!
