I have a little mole on my face that I want removed. The dermontologist says he can flaten it before the wedding but doesn't want to remove because he thinks it's fine the way it is. It's not that noticebable but it really bothers me, especially in close up pics.
Does anyone know of a good plastic surgeon and does insurance cover for that stuff?

Re: Plastic Surgeon
I doubt insurance would cover it since it's not cancerous and therefore they'd consider it an elective surgery.

Re: Plastic Surgeon
The dermantologist says he doesn't want to remove it because it will scar. . but I hear different stories. I need a good plastic surgeon that somebody can refer.

Re: Plastic Surgeon
Insurance wont cover it because its considered cosmetic. I dont know if my cosmetic surgeon does stuff like that but you can call and ask him. Dr. Daniel Morello in White Plains, NY. I dont have his # off hand, but do a search for him.

Re: Plastic Surgeon
I just got these 2 referred by my Dr yesturday
SH!T!! I left the referral at home! FM me and I'll give you their names... one was in Woodmere and the other was from 'Plastic Surgeons Gruop' or something like that with an office in RVC but when I looked them up online I found them in Great Neck also...
