$1,500!!!!! Wow, I had mine done in New Orleans, and they were $4,000. Maybe they were more b/c my surgeon is rated in the top 10 in the nation??!!!
My surgery wasn't painful at all though--I got mine done on a Friday, and I was out and about that Monday.

I'm surpirsed so amny peopel had their boobs doen. I though nose jobs woudl be more common. Only if I think About it ( like now, or watching Extreme Makeover) Iwould want liposuction under my chin ( this always bothered me, but I didn't kwo you could do that untill these tv shpows!) and maybe a breast lift.
These dont' bother me enough to actaully do it though.

I had no idea what a great deal I was getting!!!
I was in pain for about 3 days and then I was fine. I was out shopping for some new clothes.

To those who want implants, be happy with what you have. Yeah, I'm a guy saying I'd rather a girl with normal boobies than big plastic ones. Maybe I'm strange.

I didn't do it for my man----And I didn't really care if he wanted me to do it or not (maybe that's why we broke up--hahaha) And any person who calls Impants 'Big Plastic Ones' is pretty ignorant.

I don't think that any of us that have had surgery are saying that it is for everyone. I answered the question as openly and honestly as I could. I have no regrets about my choice.
I would like to add that I did not have a boob job to attract men.
ETA: That unless I tell people no one knows that they are not what nature gave me. Mine are perfectly sized to my figure and are not plastic.

I feel the same way but didn't want it to come out wrong. He could have said it nicer for those that have them.

Re: plastic surgery....
I guess because when I had mine done it was a fairly new and experimental surgery - my folks paid $7,500 HAPPY GRADUATION to me :) I'm hoping replacement is much less :)

Awwh, looks like I touched a nerve there. I'm ignorant because I like women with real breasts, over fake ones? I'm telling women who think they need them that they likely don't, and are fine the way they are. Dare I try to inspire some self-confidence in someone. I don't care what anyone has done to themselves, as it doesn't effect my life.
Just because you couldn't deal with the way you were, doesn't mean I can't have an opinion contrary to yours. Or does not agreeing with your choice make me 'ignorant'?

Ohhh--Looks like a touched a nerve, huh??!! If you read my post correctly (obviously not) I said, 'I think anyone who says implants are 'Big Plastic Ones' is ignorant'--not someone who prefers a girl with or without them. A person is entitled to what he or she likes, but you do not have to be rude about it.
And the whole 'cannot deal with myself the way I am' theory is BS. Women wear makeup--does that mean they are not themselves?? And God forbid we shave our legs or our armpits--then we are not being ourselves--Come on--The whole thing is just plain stupid.

Ok, then why did you get them? Because you liked the way they looked before? Because you had $5k burning a hole in your pocket? If it wasn't to make you feel better about yourself, what was it then? Nothing better to do?

Exactly--I had nothing better to do!
I am not going to argue with you about this or try to explain myself to you. It's silly--you have your opinion and I have mine--let's just keep it that way. Don't want to start any board wars here

Re: plastic surgery....
Personally if i had the money to spend on a pair of tatas..I would do it. YES it would make me feel better about myself and there is nothing wrong with that. If it makes me feel better when i wear shirts or dresses or when i am with my FI...who cares...IT is making ME feel better about myself so MORE POWER TO YA GIRLS!!

Re: plastic surgery....
I think its a misconception that most women with implants get them so big that they look fake. Yes, some do, but most doctors (good ones anyway) will make you proportionate to your body, and you wouldnt even know that they werent real. Most women do not get like DDD's, and a good doctor would NOT make someone who was an A a DD anyway, since this would overtax the underlying muscle and skin. People would never know that I had mine done unless I told them, since they fit me perfectly. I went from a 34A to a perfect 34C. Since my size change was not that drastic, I am able to keep all the clothes I had before, even though shopping is much more fun now! Another thing to keep in mind, they are very easy to play down. In a normal T shirt or regular clothes, they actually look smaller than someone with the same size naturally.
Congrats to the girl who paid $1500 for hers, I paid $6750 for the surgery, and then luckily my insurance covered my prescriptions, mammogram and bloodwork, otherwise I would have had to pay that out of pocket. One of my meds alone was like $170! Over all between the bras you buy after the surgery and then all the new bras you need, it all adds up, one thing to think about before you get this done if you are considering it.
I dont think there is anything wrong with doing plastic surgery, we have for years been putting plastic in our bodies. Is there anything wrong with someone with a prostetic hip or knee?
IF YOU ARE CONSIDERING GETTING ANY TYPE OF PLASTIC SURGERY PLEASE READ THIS:
My aunt in florida got hers done about 2 years ago. When I was down in florida 2 weeks ago, we see her dr. on the news because he was being indited. He was NOT even a plastic surgeon, he was a maxillofacial (oral) surgeon and had NO formal training in plastics! A girl died on his table. In addition to that, he was not even using an anesthesiologist, he was running the anesthesia himself (VERY dangerous) and had an 'assistant' helping him with it. You can say, how did people not know that he wasnt really a plastic surgeon? Well, legally, anyone can call themselves a 'cosmetic' surgeon, but you must have formal traininng in plastic surgery to call yourself a 'plastic' surgeon. Most people do not know this, and assume they are the same. A plastic surgeon may call himself a cosmetic surgeon, he is properly trained to claim that he is both. If you want anything done, make sure that your dr. is board certified in plastic surgery and that he/she is affiliated with a hospital. You MUST do your homework on his/her training before you make a decision to go to one.

Re: plastic surgery....
If I ever get pg, I will schedule my tummy tuck before the kid even has a name. I would also get a nose job if I could work up the guts to do it, though FH claims he would leave me.
I like my boobs the way they are and even if I was an A cup instead of the full C that I am, I don't think I would ever want fake ones. I will, however, consider a lift when the time comes... You know what's funny? FH would hate it if I got a nose job but he always jokes that a breast lift is okay... meanwhile if I had to choose between the two, I say let the boobies bump up against the knees -- there's always bras -- gimme a Claudia Schiffer nose over some Pamela Anderson plastic punching bags any day!! JMO, but most of the time, the boob jobs are for the boys (as my FH so clearly demonstates JK), almost everything else is for yourself. And, yeah...you can usually spot the fake ones even if they are proportionate because most 30 yr old boobs don't lie just beneath the chin

Re: plastic surgery....
I had osteoplasty (ears tucked back) about 4 mths ago. FH paid for it!! This is something I had wanted to do for years!!!! but could never manage to save all the money for it. I hadn't wore my hair up since the sixth grade when some kids started making fun of them. I had never really noticed them until they were pointed out by some idiots and me ofcourse being 12 and self-concious, have hated my ears ever since. I am so happy I got them done. boy, kids are just plain mean!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: plastic surgery....
A friend of mine just had her boobs lifted..and unfortunatly, unless you dont mind going from a C to an A or a small B, you will need an implant in order to keep your size because you lose a lot of tissue. Many of the bras out there will give you the appearance of having your boobs to your chin, so unless they are obviously not wearing a bra, you wouldnt really know if they were proportionate.
On a side note: (unrelated to the reply)
A lot of men say that they want natural boobs, but they also expect them to look perfect, or be big, or whatever. It is so rare to have a woman with a fit body and natural big boobs. Not impossible, but rare. Or they will say 'oh honey your boobs are fine' but then when a chick with a rack walks by they are staring at them. Mixed message? I used to say to my ex all the time, if you dont want me to get them because you dont like them, than why do you stare at women that have them? Guys explain this to me!?!
