I vote nay for myself...and I would hope that others would too...we all have an inner beauty...
I have a indentation on my ear b/c I was breech and the dr pulled my ear with the forceps...and I am selfconscious about it (look for earrings to cover it) but my mother always told me that it made me unique...
when I was getting upset that i couldn't find earrings to hide it for the wedding...my MIL told me that she would pay for me to have it fixed...but I am not sure that I want to have it fixed...
on the other hand...my friend is thinking about getting a boob job...and in all honesty I don't think she needs to but as long as she is serious and takes time with her decision...i will stand by her, b/c she is my friend

Nay i dont wear make up and people always think i look younger than my age.
I like who I am for what I am..every inch of it. I'd feel werid 'fixing' my body.. for what purpose.. heck.. i still have a scar on my forhead from when I was 8!! I wear it with pride!!!
There's an exception... I almost had oral surgery that would have had to require plastic surgery.. same goes for the knee surgery after 9/11.. i got lucky and only have small scars and never needed that oral correction after all (it was my wisdom teeth - go fig). For that.. YES, i feel plastic surgery is alright.... otherwise no.

Absolutley!!YAY!!! I plan on pursuing it myself when we are done having children. My husband thinks I'm perfect. I know I'm not so bad all things considerd, I mereley want the figure back I had b4 children. That requires a work. I'm not doing it for my husband or my children or a single person on this planet other than me. It's about what I want!! And if modern science can afford me the body I had at 24 why should'nt I have it. Inner beauty is important and as long as you have that, if you want outer beauty I think that's okay for wanting it. Plastic surgery should not about fixing or curing what's wrong with you. It's about making you feel as good on the outside as you know you are on the inside. IMO!!

I vote nay for myself. Like chmlengr - I don't wear makeup either (when I do it's mascara)...I like the way I look, so I don't see the point in going for surgery (for myself).

First of all, what does wearing make-up have to do with it? I don't wear make-up either, but that doesn't mean I am against plastic surgery. How do the 2 even relate? If I want my a55 lifted, i don't care what color eyeshadow I don't have on.

I myself am TOTALLY 'yay' for it. What I am 'nay' about is young girls getting work done.
