Plates for Vendors?

Do I include the vendors on my guest list? Do we pay for them to eat? Im just not sure......any thoughts?

I wouldnt care but I just dont know.....

And this might be a stupid question but we also have to include us (bride and groom) in the per person price, right? I forgot all about that!!

vendors are NOT included in your minimum count...at my hall...after our minumum # is met...we pay $35 per plate to feed our vendors...i would check with your hall.. all are different...some will even feed them for free if they are the house vendor..

***oh...and we are feeding the photogs and band and our doc will be seated as a guest

RH should give you a separate vendors rate. They arent included in your minimum # or your guest list from what I can tell.

Yes, you need to include yourselved...even though most couples are too busy to eat :-/

Definitely have to include yourselves.

As for vendors, it depends. I was told if it was vendors like DJ, photog, video and other people that would be with you the whole party then yes. But if it is like a dinner singer or just cocktail hour entertainers you don't have to.

Vendors were not counted towards our minimum. We were married at Timber Point, so I know Lessings charges half price for vendors. If they're house vendors, they eat free. HTH!

I think the vendors thing varies from RH to RH... At my hall if you use a vendor on their preferred vendor list their plate is free... if you use someone else they are 1/2 price as long as you meet your minimum. So you really have to check with your RH.

As for whether you include yourselves in your count... Yes... at least as per all the RH's I looked at. HTH!

Also with Lessings, we were a couple under our minimum so they let us count our non-house vendors in our final headcount (i.e. - if you are short by 10 people and you have 2 non house vendors, they will let you really be short by 8)
