Ok.. I know polka dots are really 'in' right now, but think of how you will feel in let's say 10 years. You might have a 'what was I thinking' moment... JMO... I love polka dots too, but plain is more classic.

ITA. I think that in a few years you may want something more classic and understated. Getting 'trendy' things is always a little iffy.

i would go with the plain ones

i like the polka dots but the plain ones will go with a lot more...if u redo your kitchen or whatever the plain ones will match a lot more.

I like things that are unique, so of course i love the polka dots.

I like them both. But I agree with the, 'will you want polka dots in 10 years' comments.

As for your original set! my FH's mother has a very similar ones and they are great. They go with everything, however, she's now sick of the 'Plainess' and is looking for a color or pattern to add to her set to 'spruce it up'.

Can you do a mix and match thing where you get some polka dots and some of similar shape/size in plain color? I think that would be fitting, even in 10 years from now. If you don't want to look at polka dots for a night take out the plain and visa versa.

FRIGGIN RITA!! Ever since this post i keep staring at these plates. i LOVE them!! i emailed them to John today but he didnt respond to how he likes them....thats gonna be our dinner convo in a few lol. i love the ones that are blue.

did you see that they sell one of the sets in an 18 piece set?

I like the plain..hmmm I wonder why??? those are mine too!!! I love them. I have to say that FH picked those out, I picked out alllll the stemware and he picked the plates..I was pleased with our decision. I think either ones are great btw
IMHO ( and bc I have them) the plain will last longer in decor

That is so funny i em my FH plates all the time

The have them in the 'black' which is what i got, 'blue' and the 'mocha' I think the 18 piece is only for the mocha

I liked the blue a lot too

you should register for them!!!!!

They will go with what i have planned paint wise. Plates stay in the cabinet so it really doesn't have to go with the kitchen
