some of its nice and some of it is ridiculous - even if i were a millionaire there are just some things that are wasteful - JMO

i watch WE every sunday, bridezillas, platinum weddings etc, but some of it is jut out of control

me and FH talked about something very important.
I wanted to make sure he was 100% happy with our decision for sans souci, because it is inexpensive and isnt going to be this 100k blowout.

anyway i asked him that if this large deal goes through, and he has way more money than he thought would he cancel for a fancier more expensive venue and he said no way. That he would never want to invest money into just one night, when we could use the money for others things, such as vacations, homes, just a better life!!!

Dont be jealous, your wedding is going to be specatcular because its the attention and the detail that you are going to put into it. Same with all the 2008 brides. We have so much time to do everything ourselves and just make everything gorgeous without spending a ridiculous amount of money.

seriously... FH & I are recieving our wedding as a gift (just found out my parents are paying for our vendors, stationary, etc), yet I' m doing everything DIY I can, and looking to cut corners everywhere, b/c I can not justify spending the money on 6 hours, pictures & a dvd.... it kills me that it will cost what it will.... I'm still trying to convince FH of eloping in the mexico and sending our restaurant reception invites when we fly out 2 weeks before we would celebrate

the only thing i would do differently if i had money was pay alot more attention to the details. and make everything with that 'wow' factor!!

Honestly - - I went to a wedding where the parents paid outragous amounts on all vendors. . . and we had a better time at a wedding were they budgeted themselves and kept it simple. It's all about the people, not how much. Just remember to be inventive and focus on the fun!!!
