I get depressed watching those shows. I love how my wedding is turning out, but watching those things make me wish I could afford more sometimes, especially for our honeymoon.

I know right....thats why I like watching 'Rich Bride Poor Bride ', it just relates more to my reality...lol

Oh I know. I just get very jealous sometimes. I feel like a spoiled brat sometimes because my parents are footing the bill, but I do wish FH and I had money of our own to pay for a wedding. If we were paying, we'd be able to afford a BBQ in the backyard and that's about it.

I used to get depressed and one day I just didn't find it impressive anymore, I found it ridiculous.
Most of it is so unnecessary. Like someone had circus performers, a dance troop etc at their wedding. Why? When i am at a wedding I want to dance, drink, mingle and have fun. Not sit there, be quiet, and watch other people dance.

i think it's pretty ridiculous but it's like a train wreck, i can't help but watch! plus they always come out so beautiful - even if it's completely out of the realm of possibility, it's still nice to see how crazy you can go if you have basically unlimited funds.
