1,000 for shoes
and 120,000 for the ring!!!!!
Her budget for her flowers is more then what my budget for the whole wedding and HM will be!!!!

me too...and I agree, some of the weddings look more expensive than others....like that one last season where they had a helicopter, horse-drawn carriage and these HUGE rose topiaries on the tables.

Yeah i agree with you girls... but, fh and I's wedding is already paid for... we have the money in a separate account, and then other accounts for other things... ex-house, vacation...

But, even with everything being said and done, I still find myself saying 'It's not necessary'. Fh and I are simple people... so maybe thats why? His family is used to the 400-600 person wedding and we are having 100. We really just wanted to spoil the guests who are family...

but when I watch that show some times its like...i have money to do so much more with my wedding but, there has to be somewhere you draw the line... like is it necessary to use swavarski crystals on each of the chairs? Go to michaels buggers! hahaha

That cake was out of control, I realize when you have that kind of money, 30K is no big deal,but I was watching last night and just shook my head at all the money they spent, when you go on the website and click on the link for the show, they only want people on who are spending over 400K!!!!! I can't even afford that much on a HOUSE!!!

some of the things are a bit much and you think 'omg how can they spend so much on one thing' but you have to think that many of these people have way more than enough to spend on a wedding like that. Its not like they are choosing between a huge wedding and a house. You can see from the show many already have a HUGE house, can have a huge wedding and still have more than plenty left.

Some ive seen i didnt think were really platinum weddings but the majority are people who would be considered rich. So although for us its alot and crazy to think of, it wont really put a dent in their pockets ya know. They dont have to save for anything bc they already have the money.

And not like we can put ourselves in their situation, saying we could've spent more too bc if we did we wouldnt be in good standing like they are after the wedding.

My moms client spent 2 million dollars on her daughters wedding, she got divorced not long after. But you know what, that 2 million dollars was nothing for her, and didnt even think 'omg this wedding is costing so much' they are filthy rich and even with spending 2 million for a wedding they still have millions left and still have investments that grow everyday for them. I see what alot of her clients spend money on, but these are ppl who can do it. They spend $10,000 on a bag like its nothing and do it often so why not doing it for their wedding.

Would be nice lol
