Platnuim Weddings!!

Gets on my nerves!! i am so jealous of those couples that have no budget! I wish that was me!! Watching it now..had to share!

I love the show but if I had that much money I would get a house instead of spend it on the wedding...even though i could make one amazing wedding with that much money

I usually turn the channel halfway through because I get so irritated.

I'm vomiting over the prices I'm looking at for my completely average wedding, I could never spend more than this and be able to live with myself.

These shows don't bother me- think about it- they live in places outside of NY and NY weddings to me are just as good as those - but a fraction of the cost. To pay over 5K on flowers is stupid, and those who pay like 100K on just food? I don't get it. The places we have here are fabulous and you can have a wedding like that for under 50K.

I look at some of the weddings and ithink 'what a waste'....

I don't know. I just dont get it. We already have the money plus in the bank for our wedding and we could have trippled our budget but we decided its just one day and we would rather buy a house and a vacation house... but then again these people prob have so much money they poop it out and dont know what else to do with it?

maybe its just the cheap bride in me?

It can seriously depress you. I was watching yesterday. The couples budget for flowers was what my entire wedding will cost!

Plus, 1/2 the stuff I see if so tacky.

Money can't buy class - and alot of this stuff is so over the top it looks ridiculous. Even if I had a million dollars, I would probably do my wedding the exact same way (except maybe I would splurge on a photo booth).

We have the money for all those extras (NOT PLATINUM WEDDING STYLE!) but we decided not to do alot of it... plus...the things hanging from the ceiling covered in crystals... like you said...tacky... and money cant buy class....
it's for one day for petes sake!

I always wondered though...who gets all those swarvarski things later on? Probably the decorator takes them home right???
