Please allow me to pull my hair out.....

I went and chopped my hair again because I have dyed it so much that the split ends are scary and I am tired of putting products in my hair to make it look remotely normal. Plus I don't even know what my natural hair color is anymore.

Problem is it's freaking shorter than I told the guy to cut it and now I hate it. I was tempted to tell him to shave it all off after seeing the end result so I could go sport some cool wigs.

Granted, if I mess with it enough, it's workable, but I'm still not crazy about it and have no patience in the morning to mess with my hair a thousand times.

Should I:
A. Leave it as is and just wait for it to grow
B. Shave it off and invest in some cool wigs / scarves / hats
C. Get one of those hair add-ons in the meantime.
D. Take advantage of the shortness and just dye it some funky color once and for all.

I should mention I work in a field where we deal with a lot of design / fashion companies, so my boss wouldn't bat an eye if I did something outrageous.

I would go super red but having had my hair almost every color in existence short of platinum, I know red is the hardest color to maintain.

If I do go red, I'm leaving it in the hands of a professional and will go Debra Messing red.

me too. I am past the 1 year mark. I am such a lazy bastaad.

I agree with Mel.

I cannot wait to chop my hair off- it's to the middle of my back. I'm donating it and cannot wait to do so!

DO NOT keep dying it.

I nearly fried my hair by over doing it. I had to do hot oil treatments for a week and a half to keep it from falling out. The texture was shot and the ends are still in recovery.

I would stick it out.
