My in-laws live with my FSIL but I would they are the most quiet people I have ever met. I guess it is also because I am used to my grandma living right next to us most of my life and I think my kids would enjoy it.
Now if I didn't particulary care for them then no I would not want to live with them

Re: Please be honest..
I love my FMIL but I could never live with her for more than a month MAX. FH's apartment is off his parent's house and she is constantly knocking on the door.

Re: Please be honest..
FMIL lived with us for 2 years before she passed away. Never really had any issues. But she was really easy-going and wasn't a typical psycho MIL

I live with my FMIL. I don't mind, She is very respectful of our privacy. She is more of a friend then a MIL

Re: Please be honest..
I seriously LOVE my FMIL, but I don't wanna ruin the relationship by living with her, I believe once a couple decide to get married, they should start their own life and home

Would you live with your mommy in law?
No. But she could live with us...there is a difference.

Re: Please be honest..
My parents have a two family house, and I live upstairs with my FH. He doesn't mind it, because my parents don't really bother us. I believe it is a good idea, if you are trying to save money for a house. My bestfriend and her husband move in with her MIL, she doesn't really care for her, but they are going to save money for their dream house. Will all that said, I think if you want to save money and it is a good reason, I would do it.
