Please describe or post a pic of your favor.

Original post by LIPrincess00

I am trying to decide what to do, choc. bar, or candle or something else and someone asked me 'What do other brides do?' I thought this might be fun to see.

Edited for more detail.

Ours were hand painted vases!!! Everyone loved them. I will post a picture when I get home. Carol Ann from Carol Ann's creations did them, she is now a vendor on the board and she is amazing!

I'm from Maine but getting married here on Long Island. To bring a little bit of Maine to the wedding I plan to put 1 jar of Jam and 1 spreader in a white box and wrap it with a pretty organza ribbon.

Thank you! My FI thinks it's 'cheap' sounding. I personally love it and I told him that since my parents helped us pay for the wedding and haven't made 1 single request, that the least we could do was these favors. My mom loves the idea and so does my dad and I know they were a little disappointed that I decided to have the wedding here.

They aren't 'cheap' either. They are actually costing just as much if not more than the bottle opener we had previously liked.

OUR WEDDING IS DONE WE DID DONATION TO LITTLE SHELTER [ANIMAL SHELTER] AND CANCER SOCIETY.
I REALLY LIKE THE LENOX VASES. WE GOT SOMETHING SIMILAR AS A GIFT FOR OUR ENGAGEMENT [ A BIG SIZE BUT SIMILAR COLORING, ETC.] I REALLY LIKE THAT AS A FAVOR.

StepherG - LOVE your idea....I don't think it's cheap at all....infact, at least it has some thought behind it and gives them a piece of your background! GREAT GREAT IDEA!

Here are ours... it's a votive holder but big enough to be a small bowl too - made by Marquis by Waterford.

We're giving an album inside a frame. I wanted to give something different because all the weddings I've been to give Lenox or Mikasa.
