This is yet another post about the potential color of my BM dresses. (sorry!!) I found a LIW bride who used the same color that I'm thinking of using!! I think it's better to see real pics instead of using the professional pics from the website of the designer - it gives a better representation of the color.

Now...based on these pics....do you think that this color is similar or different from an eggplant color?????

Please let me know if you think this dress is too similar to eggplant or if it's completely different from eggplant. In my opinion, I think that I should be okay (based on these pics). I just want to see what you girls think. (Sorry for the million pics, I went a little overboard! )

awww alicia, you're so cute!

I def think this is different from eggplant! You have nothing to worry about! I think this color is more of a 'berry' where the eggplant is sometimes so dark that it almost looks black. Stop stressing about the colors, the blackberry is gorgeous!!!!

its pretty and I like it. Don't be upset, but its still in the same family and most people have a hard time telling the diff between colors.

but unless you guys take pics and compare them side by side you'll never know. No one will remember.

I really love this color. It is similar.. Its def in the same family but it's not too cloose to eggplant.. I think ur good..

I also think if you still went with eggplant and called it something else like , a random made up name like 'smoked plum' or something she probably would'nt even know the difference lol I think alot of the dresses are basically the same or very close in color but different designers give them different names

Honestly - i like it a little better then the eggplant and i dont think its anything close to that color. It is so different!!!! I love it

Def different than eggplant, especially when the light hits it a certain way. I love the fabric!

Thanks girlies!! I truly love this color and really don't want to change it. I still think that it is a little similar to the eggplant, but I'm feeling SO much better about it!!

The color is blackberry and is offered in tissue taffeta fabric in the Jim Hjelm Occasions, Alvina Valenta, and Lazaro lines (they are all sister companies).

I think this color is a) totally different, b) gorgeous and c) better than the eggplant and I'm not just saying that cause you're on LIW and she isn't

DEF go with this color, it will look GORG with the CB's!

Thanks so much girlies!! I showed my mom the color too and she thinks that it is different enough from eggplant. I'm so happy because I love this color! Thanks again girls!
