This is yet another post about the potential color of my BM dresses. (sorry!!) I found a LIW bride who used the same color that I'm thinking of using!! I think it's better to see real pics instead of using the professional pics from the website of the designer - it gives a better representation of the color.
Now...based on these pics....do you think that this color is similar or different from an eggplant color?????
Please let me know if you think this dress is too similar to eggplant or if it's completely different from eggplant. In my opinion, I think that I should be okay (based on these pics). I just want to see what you girls think. (Sorry for the million pics, I went a little overboard! )

IMO this is different than eggplant. I can see in some pics that it could look similar, bu tthe way the light hits these dresses im most every picture, it looks different than eggplant.

Honestly - i like it a little better then the eggplant and i dont think its anything close to that color. It is so different!!!! I love it

i am completely in love with that color!
its a little close to egg plant, but eggplant is darker

Thanks so much girls!! You are really easing my mind about this. I have been stressing out about this so much over the past few days. I have even considered changing my colors again, which I realllllly don't want to do because it took me SO long to decide on this color and I LOVE it. I'm so happy I found pics of real BMs wearing the dress because sometimes the color looks different in the stock photos on the designer's website. I saw the dress in person and it looks just like it does in these photos. Thank you again!

Jim Hjelm Occasions, Alvina Valenta, and Lazaro all have this blackberry color in their tissue taffeta fabric. They are all sister companies, so they use the same colors, which is great because I have a large selection of dresses for my BMs to choose from!

I think this dress is beautiful. I have to see what my BMs want. I kinda hope they pick something with straps because I want their dresses to have a different style than mine (mine is strapless). But if they want strapless, I'm fine with that too!

I *think* between $200 - $250. But it may depend on which designer you choose. I'm not sure if one is more expensive than the others.

I used a jim hjelm dress in my cousins BP last april-- was about 240 but it was one of the more expensive ones

i absolutly LOVE this color... I think its close enough to be in your color scheme but different enough form eggplant...

that is totally different than eggplant - it's much brighter where as the eggplant is a darker purple.
Go for it because that is such a rich beautiful color!

it is def different...i loooove how it shows up in pics! and it will look freakin fabulousssssssssssssssss with your pink cherry blossoms! the 2 colors will complement each other so well!
