Hmmm those were the two I was going to name!
Ok this isn't really Queens but its REALLY close!! Macy's of Manhasset has a pretty large bridal dept.

The thing is: My MOH isn't all that happy with the price of the bridesmaid dress ($189 WITH alterations included). I think she's crazy, but to make her happy I told her I'd call around and ask some other stores for prices. The thing is, Charmet is sooo close to my FIL's house and it's sooo convenient.

Just stay away from clarisol's!! They used to be great but since they changed owners I have heard alot of bad things!!! One was from my SIL who just got married last week She had used them for her gown and her bm gowns.
How about you look it up the dress on netbride and print out the price... ask charmet if they can't at least match the price if they can come down a bit!

Not to worry about Charisol's. They don't carry Mackenzie Michaels dresses. I'll try netbride and then I'll call them. Do they negotiate?

One more question: how much do you think it costs to alter this dress. Do you think it's about $50, or lower? Thanks for all your help!
