Please give me soem Disneyland advice

Tell me everything you know!

I know nothing about DL, except like random facts and how the rides differ from WDW, etc. I don't know about the hotels or ticketing or what. Tell me everything you know. Oh and pleasew reccomend hotels that are equivalent to a value or moderate at WDW..thanks!

I spent one day there on my HM. They did not have park hoppers at that time, so we had to pay for both parks. Magic Kingdom was great.
The other Park, California adventure, was kind of stinky. We spent may 2-3 hours there only. There are only a few good rides, like Soarin over california which was great, but they are opening it in fla soon (if not already).
The animation building is in California adventure too. They also have a little area set up like carnival (with ferris wheels and stuff).

If I went again I would skip that park and spend all my time at the Magic Kingdom.
