Have you been to any weddings or even seen Land's End or West Lake Inn???
PLease let me know opinions....

We went to West Lake when we began looking for halls. They are beginning renovations soon and 'will be completed' by March '07.. That was what the woman told us who sat down with us, however, they said they weren't even TAKING information for march/april '07 weddings because of the renovations.

However, this was back in February of last year, so things may have changed. But according to her, it was pretty set in stone. Give them a call though.. The room is HUGE... We liked it.. Plus 1 event at a time.. That's key..

Keep me updated.. I'm curious!

Land's End was my second choice. I think it's beautiful there especially if you love the water.

I've been to functions at both...
If we could have afforded it lands end was #1 pick.. its gorgous and they do it up great! food, atmosphere,

West lake was nice when i went.. they had done phase one of renovatoins.. i believe they are doing extensive ones now.... so id check with them... the atmosphere in my opinoin ONLY.. has somethign to be desired but the staff was on point..
