My FHs cousin was booked for the Sunday before Columbus Day (Oct 2007) at the HUNTINGTON TOWNHOUSE. They've cancelled all events there!
Can you ladies help? We're trying to find a budget hall that is not booked... Any ideas? And can someone post the link to the Official 2007 RH price thread?
Thank you so much!!!!!

Re: Please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Try CLM. Their prices are really resonable. We got $75/pp for JUNE, so March is probably cheaper.

Oh wow! Yes, I highly recommend CLM!
There's also Stewart Manor Country Club- VERY reasonable! Good luck!
Wow....wonder what's up with HT. Although, it's not surprising. I feel so bad for all of the brides going through this!

Re: Please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Maybe try Douglaston Manor Club (I think that's their name). I second the recommendations for Woodbury Country Club and CLM. George Washington Manor, Fox Hollow, and Coral House are also pretty affordable.
ETA: I think this is the '07 RH Price thread. Link

if they can't find a RH, how about one of the colleges? CW Post & Molloy have weddings there.

Re: Please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just remembered....there was a bride that was looking for someone to buy her date because the wedding was cancelled. I wish I could remember more, but maybe you can search the topic...

I have a spreadsheet with some halls prices that I created when I was shopping around last summer.....I'll send it to you. That's so terrible that they are cancelling on their contracts!!

Re: Please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Chateau Le Mer, The Riviera in Massapequa, Leonard's of Great Neck-all reasonable and pretty
if all else fails - fh owns a tent company - he does lots of tented weddings - and Columbus Day weekend is AWAYS beautiful weather.....maybe they might need to consider that...
