Please help a new bride-to-be!!

Original post by katbunny

Hi everyone!

I recently became engaged, and I'm trying to contact RH's for some preliminary pricing over the phone. Everywhere seems to expensive!!

I'm hoping for a November 2009 wedding. Do you have any recommendations?

I'm TRYING to stay under $100/head including tax and gratuity, which works out to be about $80/head and under (before tax and grat).

I'd like to stay in Nassau or West Suffolk.

Thanks!!

Try Westbury Manor I am under $100pp with tax and gratuity but I have a march wedding I am not sure if it will be as cheap in November.

are you set on november? if you are willing to change to a less popular month...jan-march you can get a hall you are more in love with for less the price.
my hall for instance was $80 cheaper PER HEAD..just to have it in february. you cant beat a deal like that.

I think Giorgio's at Fox Hill is reasonable - - very pretty setting and they only do one wedding at a time. You might want to take a look at the Three Village Inn in Stony Brook. The Lessing's rep told me they're bringing in the chef from Mirabelle restaurant which offers some of the most upscale food on Long Island. Also, another popular venue is the East Wind in Wading River; I have been to a few weddings there and always had a good time.
