Please HELP book this date: VANDERBILT MANSION OAKDALE SEPT 21ST 2007

well, i cant believe i would ever be saying this but it happened to me... less than two months before my wedding, fh wants to cancel... (hoping to postpone)

i know that this is close to impossible but i am hoping for a miracle... if you all could do whatever you can to get the word out to anyone who might want to book the beautiful Vanderbilt Mansion at Dowling on September 21st, i would be so grateful. please spread the word to anyone you can

it is $109 per plate which was an AMAZING price for this venue

Is that the Vandebilt policy? I also wanted to postpone.

Did you post on brides helping brides?

im going to find out today how much i lose for postponing, if they book the date i get everything back.. please help!!

Vanderbuilt is in Suffolk, right? You'll get everything back except $100... it's a law in Suffolk County. If it's in Nassau, than I don't know what the deal is.

ETA: do a search on BHB about hall cancellations... there are tons of threads with a lot of info that can help you.

that is if the wedding is cancelled before 6 months
