have you ever booked a vendor and have second thought about him or her?
Well, this is my situation I booked a certain vendor well known on these boards but I think I paying too much the service that they are giving me and now I might want out. What should I do. I left a small dep with them.
I also think I might get a lower quote some place else.

I think you should follow your heart... if you arent comfortable with a vendor, then dont go with them... if it is only a money issue, with booking vendors, sometimes I didnt mind paying a bit extra when I knew I was getting quality...
I think if you ask far enough in advance you can get your deposit back... it never hurts to ask!!

If you are unhappy with a vendor definatly look for someone else. If it is just a price issue meet with a few other vendors first to get quotes and then make a decision.

I don't really know all the reasons you are having second thoughts but I notice this happens to me also lately. I know it's just because I am a worry wart though. If it's the price that bugs you try to reneg., if it's their services themselves then look elsewhere esp. if you only left a small deposit. All the best.
