Ok, so I realized that I totally forgot to print something up mentioning that in lieu of a favor we gave a donation to an animal shelter, etc. We ARE doing cookies that say something about little shelter, but I dont think its 100% clear about the fact that it is a favor and we've made a donation.
Should I print up something on special paper and put it in a little frame? How many on each table? 2? Ahhhhh. What should I do to rectify this.

Heather! Just buy one 8x10 frame - or 11x14, whatever you want - and print a note about the donation favors on cardstock, put it in the frame, and put the frame on the placecard table. That way everyone will see it. If you want, get two frames - one for each side of the placecard table - but you don't need one on each table. This is what I am doing. Isn't your placecard holder also a mini-favor?? MIne is and that's what I am saying - 'please take the placecard holder / candle holder but we also donated to out of the pits, a pit bull rescue and adoption org.'
Don't stress about this now!!!!
i like this idea! it'll be easier and way less stressful for you to do.

Go to national wholesale liquidators, i got my frames for a good price there.

why don't u make little print them out on folded paper like tent cards it will be small and out of the way

You can just make 1, put it in a nice frame, and put it on the placecard table. Everyone will see it when they take their placecards.

or maybe you can print up 1 and put it by the place cards. There might be some people who don't see it but a majority of people should see it with that location
