there is nothing to be embarrased about, you would be surprised to find out that a lot of woman go throught the same thing. You should definitely talk to your doctor, there are many reasons why you could be going through this and an expert in this field, can direct you and show you the best options. Don't worry and hang in there.

Re: please help me
I think a lot fo women go throgh this esp with the stress of planning a wedding. Going to teh GYN is never a bad idea, but you might consider some kind of counseling or therapy to find out the udnerlying reasons

It's not the stress of planning the wedding. It's been going on before then. Planning the wedding hasn't been stressful for me at all. It's been fun and exciting. What are some of the reasons women go through this? Do you think I need medication?

do you take any type of birth control pills? Some woman complain about it and they say it diminishes their libido. maybe you can discuss any other types of birth control that it won't affect your sex drive. That could be one of the reasons for instance.

Anything else bothering you? Job? Family? Have you gained weight?

Are you on any other kinds of medication? Sometimes a side effect is decreased sex drive.

I do take the pill. I got off them once it really didn't improve.
Nothing else is bothering me. Not my job, I actually lost weight. I guess I should just make an appointement with my gyno. What do I say when I make the appointment cause they usually say what are you coming in for.

I was going to ask you the same thing. Often times birth control pills can slow down your sex drive...so that is def something to think about.
Know that you are not alone! It is very common that women have lower sex drives than men....I think that people just tend to shy away from discussing it.
I couldn't hurt to talk to your OBGYN. It is nothing to be embarassed about.

When you make the appointment, you can make something up (ex. breast pain). Please don't be embarrassed. once you start talking to your doctor, the conversation may shed some light on certain issues that you didn't realize were truly issues.

You can tell then that you are considering changing the type of pill you are on, or that you simply want to talk to the doctor, or that you just want a check up.
No matter what you tell them it is nothing they haven't heard before!
