I dont know why this is such a difficult decision for me! I cant decide between cathedral length or fingertip. I love the look of a cathedral veil, but i'm getting married at the RH so is that weird? And I like the idea of a fingertip veil cuz then i can keep it on for entrance and first dance. And I just cant decide which i think would look better with my dress.
What do you guys think?? My dress is in my album

Re: Please help me decide on a veil length
Do fingertip! Mine was plain but I liked it! I took it off right after the ceremony.
My sister had 2 veils (1 fingertip and 1 cathedral...both verrry pricey)...anyway the cathedral one annoyed her a bit. Like during pictures, she had to hold it alot and it just got in the way and she couldnt wait to get it off! Even her regular veil she took off after the 1st dance because when everyone hugs you they pull on your veil, which in turn pulls on your up-do!

Hey dress twin
I decided on a fingertip length veil with blusher. I want the fuller look thats why I'm doing 2 tiers
hey you!! i think this is exactly what i'm gonna do. i had my first fitting today and tried a veil on like that and loved it. What color veil are you getting?? what color is 'natural'??? the one i tried on was ivory and it looked good but i kinda want to see what diamond white might look like?
When I went to Barrons they have a color called 'natural' so maybe it will match our dress. Not sure though I just recently got a swatch of my dress so I'll try to go off of that. Where did you try on the veil? I got my dress from RK, is that where you got yours?
oh they did? that might be perfect, i'll have to go back. thing is i already have an ivory veil so i kind of wanted to try to make that work, but i also really want it to match. when i bunched the material together from the veil it was def too ivory, but spread out it was fine.
I got my dress at RK too - where did you get a swatch from??
I called RK alterations department and asked for a swatch and they had it ready to pick up same day at 3pm. It's just a little strip of fabric, I'll take it with me the next time I go to barrons. I'm thinking something plain don't think I want any crystal edging or anything. I just want the drama of a veil with our beautiful dress!
Do you have your dress at home? Maybe you can try the ivory veil with your dress and take some pics. See how it photographs. You def dont want the diff colors to show though.
