Please help me decide on bday present for DH - I-Pod or Snowboard?
He has mentioned both of them and I don't know which one he wants - any opinions? Also, what are the average prices of these gifts? Thanks!

If you buy the iPod... make sure you get either the Mini or the latest generation iPod... 4G i believe. The one thats directly on their website.
The older iPods look the same... but suffer from a weak battery.
Oh and the iPod can run anywhere from $250-400.

I just got DH the ipod mini for his birthday. It cost $250 plus tax and shipping. I also had it engraved with his initials, but I don't remember how much that cost. It wasn't too much, though.

Think about how much he would want to store on the iPod. The mini ones hold a lot less than the regular ones. If you get the iPod definitely get a case b/c they scratch up easily! I don't know what a snowboard costs!

As far as I have seen - snowboards cost A LOT more than i-pods - he has an old snowboard and in the 3 1/2 years I've known him - he hasn't gone snowboarding ONCE!! THe mini i-pod stores 1,000 songs - I think that's enough! Thanks for the advice about the case.

hi, i just bought fh the 15gb i-pod and he has over 2700 songs on it, the mini is just not big enough, imo.

it sounds like soo many, but once he starts making the playlist, he may want more room. and the 15gb ipod is the same price as the mini, and you get soo much more room. ps - i don't work for apple...

check out bestbuy.com, they have the 20gb i-pod for $299, and i think they have free shipping. or circuitcity.com. good luck

you can use the iPod all year 'round! I have a mini and I LOOOVE it.

you can get a nice board with bindings for like 400-500
