Please help me decided between two RH!!!! Girls I need your help

Hello Brides!!!

I need help on deciding which venue I should pick. Right now is between Chateau Briand or Fox Hollow?

I do not know which one to pick I am driving my Fiance crazy. If anyone has better venues please let inform me.

what is more your style? they have two completely different styles so it depends on what one you like better. as far as food and service i have heard great things about both

What are you looking for, that can help narrow it down.

I would personally choose Fox Hollow, because I don't like how Chateau Briand is right on the street. But that's just me, lots of girls do CB and LOVE it. So its really a personal decisioN!

ididnt go to fox hollow.

i went to chateau, it was nice.. just not my taste. as much as i love miami, but the whole art decco feel with plastic palm trees outside is so not what i pictured my wedding to look like

we went to both.

two different styles.

we felt chateau had a better menu than fox hollow. better price too.
the lobby in fox hollow is really small.
since they do more than one event at a time it can get really crowded. we were glad we went to see fox hollow on a friday. the winter garden room is gorgeous.

it really depends on the style you want

I have been to both. Chateau Briand is where my sister got married, and I interviewed at Fox Hollow for a planning position back in the day. Having not actually experienced a wedding at Fox Hollow I do not know if I can be of much help, but I thought it was warmer and cozier. Old English country. Chateau Briand is definitely more modern. I loved their CH room, the main room my sister had the reception is was pretty standard, nothing crazy, and it was a little confusing to get around with all the different floors and stairs, but we always had an attendent guiding us so it wasn't too bad. Since then, I heard they put in an outdoor lounge area. So really I think it all depends on your style!

My problem is that I like both but my Fiance says that the F H room the Garden is pretty small. But I love the outside. The CB room is nice the we actually come out of the floor which is pretty cool a surprise for the guest. The pricing for CB is pretty good. I just can't decide, I am really indecisive. Originally we had planned our wedding in Manhattan Riverside Church they have a beautiful room. But at the last minute they changed their caters and the price per person went from $97 to $135 which is toooo much for us we have about 150 guest and $135 goes up to almost $150. I was really sad, SO now we are searching once again for another location. What I had in mind was, romantic, historic, with beautiful picture opportunities.

HELP!!

if you are going for historic and romantic chateau may not be the place for you.
imo it is has more of a modern feel. which is one of the reasons why we chose it.

That is why I am hesitant in signing the contract with them. But he loves it I do like it don't get me wrong but I guess is not what I pictured

How many guests are you inviting?
We're inviting 150 and expecting 125-130....perfect for the Wintergarden at the Fox Hollow.

The ceilings in the room the next size up (Briarfox) are too low for my taste and I would not have booked if that were the case. The quality of food is the same at both as they are owned by the same company- a good thing. It comes down to your style and the particular rooms.

If you are looking more the 'historic' setting, Fox hollow would be more suited I think but then again, you did vist CB in person and obviously like it as well. They both have great reputatations, CB is more my style but again, thats a personal preferance. Im not sure if you've visited others but with a lot of things I chose, of course I did my research (a lot) and son on but I usually had a gut feeling and a 'I know this is the one' feeling for things I chose including my RH. Maybe go around a little more and see if your choice becomes more apparent. Try Westbury Manor if you are looking for that more historic feel, my RH is Jericho Terrace which is imo, romantic because it has an Italian old world flair but it is modern in the way that it has marble floors, etc...different from a place like Fox hollow which is more of an old world lodge feel. There's so many to recommend...what is your price range and where do you want the rh hall to be located? nassau, suffolk, north, south?

We did go to westbury manor I love the outside. It was a really nice place really homely and cozy. But I did not like the room the ceiling is to low and my centerpieces are too tall. The room would not compliment the centerpieces.

Our price range would be Max about $90 which would probably be Friday or Sunday. We cannot afford a Saturday sadly

As for location it dose not really matter. We are pretty flexible with location wise.

So far our guest list is about 150 but that can go up he has so many friends. His a cop so he is always meeting people

I guess I will continue looking and maybe go check out once more CB and FH.

Definitely check out the North Ritz Club. They were amazing throughout the whole process and they threw in tons of things for us. We had so much food (which was DELICIOUS) that people couldn't believe it. PLus its gorgeous and there's plenty of space for nice pictures

maybe check Larkfield Manor. I think the decor is lovely. the food is outstanding and you get tons of it. there are pics in my album and a slideshow in my video lib which might give you an idea about the place, photo ops and food.
