Please help me decided between two RH!!!! Girls I need your help

Hello Brides!!!

I need help on deciding which venue I should pick. Right now is between Chateau Briand or Fox Hollow?

I do not know which one to pick I am driving my Fiance crazy. If anyone has better venues please let inform me.

I went to a wedding at Fox Hollow on July 4th. It was beatiful and the food was great!

I would go for Fox Hollow if your looking for Historic. I just went to a wedding this past weekend at the Fox Hollow....Its beautiful!!

It really depends on the type of place you are looking for because they are both very different... Do you like the modern feel or the more homey and cozy feel? We checked out both places and went with CB because that was more our style... Fox Hollow is beautiful though... Which place gave you more? We felt that CB gave us more food... Ultimately, either place is going to be great because they are owned by the same people! Maybe you need to look at a few other places before you decide... Also, (this is just my opinion) don't pick a place with wonderful gardens for pics if you don't like the room... You have to get that 'wow' feeling from the room, you're going to be in there the whole night, and outside for only a little bit of time...

I liked CB better than Fox Hollow and I also feel they gave us a much better deal than FH, and much more food. i loved the CH room but i wasnt crazy about the room on the 1st floor.I also liked that they had so many options to take pictures in CH

FH I loved it and also i hated it,
I felt it was cozy and I loved the ballroom. I didnt like the CH room and that they have so many parties going on at once.

I was 1st between these two halls and then we went to another hall, it was just right for us

Also my big suggestion is to visit the hall again, I mean I went three times to invision if I wanted the hall or not.

If you're looking for historic, def go with Fox Hollow.

Chateau Briand was my second choice. I heard MANY fabulous things about CB. I find it to be gorgeous and when I went recieved great service and help. The CH room is amazing and so different.

I like FH more than CB...just a personal preference with food. Although both a really good and both owned by Scotto Bros., Fox Hollow was more flexible and I really liked the way the food tasted. I though CB was kinda bland. But I agree with another poster...FH's entrance is a bit tight.

You can get Westbury Manor's larger room - The Manor Room during the day with a smaller min. just 150 ppl at $90pp with lots of extras. It's nice and the dance flr is so much bigger. You can have a day ceremony there and also semi pvt CH too.

Swan Cub is also nice and the food is really good. Their Garden Room would fit 150-170 ppl.

Are you stuck on a Sat. evening reception? If not...plenty of other options out there.

If you have doubts, don't sign. Keep looking.

you may want to keep looking...sans souci and the metropolitan have a different look and unique charm...or even the coral house (great prices there!)

Thanks to everyone I am definitely going to look at other places. I am pretty flexible I do not mind a Friday or Sunday, which should be great for better prices. I am going back to see these two places as well.

I like them both I love FH because of the outside and is so cozy and I love CB because is different from what I have seen so far. I love the fact that the room we would use we come out of the floor for our big enterance. Really cool!!! CB gave me much more and the price is great. But we are definitely going to check out other places. My fiance likes CB very much but I guess I need to look at other places and then decide. I still don't have that really.

And you have a point I have to love the room, I've only been thinking about the outside.

I say keep looking there are tons of halls out there. Do not just settle for those two....maybe u have not found the 'ONE' yet

Sans Souci of Sea Cliff is better than both, way better view, food and only one affair at a time.

i personally am partial to Fox Hollow - thats where I was married.
I went to chateau briand for a showcase, and I didn't NOT like it, but it just wasn't my style. We were looking for something more mellow...comfortable but elegant.. Fox Hollow was exactly that.
Both places are under the same ownership..so I'm sure the food and service at Cheateau Briand is just as amazing as that of the Fox Hollow, so it really is just a matter of personal taste....

it kinda sounds like you don't love either place....they are both great!!!!! but it doesn't sound like either is the one for you...i would keep looking you are working with a very nice budget and something with work for both of you!!! good luck

i have been to CB some many time sand FH once i would go with Fox hollow i liked there decor better

Between Fox Hollow and CB i'd choose Fox Hollow.

Someone Mentioned N. Ritz, that would be over what you want to pay p/person.

what about....... douglaston manor, the harbor club, umm.. i'll see if i think of others.
