My fh is in the reserve (USCG) and he is thinking to wear his uniform for the wedding but he is not sure if he is going to wear tuxedo or uniform.
I am thinking toward to tuxedo. and there is no-one from uscg can come to our wedding, so do you think it will look awkward if he is the only one who wear the uniform.
What do you guys thinking..

I don't think he'll look akward being the only one in Uniform. It's an honor to wear that, and it looks amazing in pictures (my personal opinion)....

my husband wore a kilt because it was important to him. At first I was a little nervous but after all said and done, it was a great decision. Let him wear his uniform, it will be more special than the typical tux to him

I think he should absolutely wear his uniform, like someone else said, it's an honor. Besides, he's the groom so it's perfectly ok for him to stand out.

Personally, I think a man in uniform looks distinguished. I guess it depends on what he's most comfortable in and how important the Coast Guard is to him (i.e. will he want to see it in pics in years to come or is he miserable?)
