PLEASE Help me Negotiate... or choose...

I DONT KNOW HOW TO NEGOTIATE!!!
Let me give U a little bit of Info...

Ok Ariana Waterfalls & Mediterrean manor is in OUR Mind and Hearts! LOL
Fh and I love the places.. Love their food packages, their inclusive packages...

Now...
Ariana is Closer to Home/Ceremony...
Med Manor is 45min away from home/Ceremony.

Ariana gives us in Cocktail hour (with teh pkge we gettng)
Champagne on Table, Hors D., Fruit/Veggie displays...
Med gives us in Cocktail hour (with pkge we gettin)
Champage served as soon as U enter, Pasta/Carving station, fruit/veggie/bread display...
IF I book this month with them, i get Shrimp. (got a coupo0n)

Reception
Ariana: Guest Choose Steak, Chicken, Swordfish
Med Manor: Ribs, Chicken, Salmon

Inclusive Packages:
Araina: Photography with Albums for us and parents, 11x14protrait, 75 Thank u notes.
Med Manor: 11x14, 8x10 portrait, 75 thank u notes

Ariana: Video 1 for us and 2 for paretns.
Med manor: NO VIDEO (its around $1100xtra for it)

Ariana: Limo 3hrs, Runner, Champagne in it
Med Manor: Limo 3hrs, Runner

Ariana: DJ & Bilingual MC, names on the floor with lights.
Med Manor: DJ & Lights.

Ariana: ALL Centerpieces Flowers I choose
Med Manor: 10 centerpieces Seasonal flowers

Ariana gives us discount with Tuxedos, flowers, invitations, favors
Med Manor Does NOT

Both of them gives me CAKE.

Now...
I think we are more aiming towards ARIANA... BUT
I want them to give me a LITTLE more.. See how Med is giving me Past/Carving Station? and if i book with them asap I get Shrimp too... I want MORE things in Ariana...
So how CAN I negotitate???

But What u think??

So... I can say their name?
I also had a Food tastin in med Manor, Since I went to the Showcase yesterday.
Arianas showcase is in JANUARY!!!!!!

i def think Ariana is the way to go.

when you go in there, ask if they can add a station or two and let them know that we went to see other halls and they're offering you this and that. a lot of places would rather throw in freebies than lose out on an entire event. say that you're deciding between a couple of RH's. i've tried that if you throw this this and that, i'll book (but that can sometimes blow up in ur face). but i think it usually works

Ariana: So far, they said they could give us Chair Linens with Royal Blue sash to match my theme. They are not included in the package, but its a freebie.

Med manor, Comes ONLY with Chair Linens.

I usually DONT negotiate THINGS but I SO WANT TO NEGOTIATE...

Is there a NEGOTIATE 101 Class I can take?!! lol...

OHHHH I also wanted a the Dessert table.. Vieneseee.. (cant spell)... Med gives us an Ice Cream Sundae Bar...

Yea tell them what ariana is offering. Try to get as much from them in one shot. Don't just ask for the stations. See what else they can offer you so that you can deal the deal. sit with fh to see what more you want. It doesn't hurt to ask and I'm sure they would really want your business

The chair linens are a nice freebie! those are usually like $3.00 per person! It looks like Ariana is the best. Med Manor is nice too but it is pretty far out on the Island.

I'd say Ariana waterfall but before you book, tell them that you have been to other places and theyre offering you this and that and it may spark up a conversation like 'well, we can give you that for this amount if u book with us' it doesnt hurt to try.

Are they both the same price? Ariana is giving you much more. Have you tasted the food at both? Even if they aren't having a showcase they should allow you a tasting. If you want an extra station at CH just ask. Say you're really on the fence, that another hall is offering a carving station with their package and you're really interested in having one. You don't have to give specifics. Just tell them what you want and see what they can do for you.

ETA: regarding the photo and video packages, make sure you like the photographer they give you. And keep in mind you could probably get video for less than what med manor is telling you for their package deal. I'm spending about that but he had lesser packages. To be honest, for me, I'm not crazy about packages in general. I like to be able to pick and chose and find my own deals. You might find cheaper and better elsewhere.
