Re: Please help me proof my invitations
The text you posted doesn't match the invite exactly, which is the current version?

Re: Please help me proof my invitations
what you typed in your post and what's in the photo is slightly different...
you types 'two thousand and eight' which is correct, but the photo shows 'two thousand eight'
also, you typed 'half past one o'clock' whereas the photo shows 'three-quarters past one o'clock'
i would also try to put 'in the afternoon' on the same line as the time, but that's just me

Re: Please help me proof my invitations
I think it should also be 'Two-thousand and eight'...there should be a hyphen there...check to be on the safe side

Re: Please help me proof my invitations
I find the mix of caps and no caps to be a little unusual. Twelfth IMO should be capped. Either cap it all or none but not mix and match. I am no expert though so I am sure one of the other girls can help you more!!!

Re: Please help me proof my invitations
IMO: Is there a reason why you are not putting your FH's parents on there? My brother did this on his invites, because his wife's parents paid for the wedding, so her parents requested your presence, but it didn't say 'son of Mr. & Mrs.'....and my mom was really upset.

Re: Please help me proof my invitations
My parents don't want my FH's parents on the invite and it's fine with us b/c we are not close to them.
My sister, however, did put her FH's parents on there, against my parent's initial desires, because it meant a lot to her FH. Worked out well, they were beautiful invites and made the FILs happy.

yes FH's dad is deceased and he did not want to put on there 'son of Ms. Diana X and the late Jaime Y' His mom is fine with it and completely supportive
