I am contemplating gold or gold-ish BM dresses, but I ahve not been able to find any pictures, if anyone has any, sees any or is using gold dresses, please let me know! Our colors are white with gold accents, and I am afraid to do another color for the BMs because it will screw up the whole theme. ARGH! Well, thank you in advance!
ETA: Is gold tacky looking? I feel like it might be.

Ok, after complaining I couldn't find anything, I found some colors that may be suitable. Please tell me what you think! Now, think COLOR, not STYLE...........
2nd and last dress are nice its more of a pewter color which can be either gold or silver the first one looks like pleather and the others not crazy about it.

most bridemaids dresses come in a variety of colors...here is a sample from aftersix.com website of thier gold color...I don't know what it looks like in real life. Good luck. I think gold will look nice.

Do you think that the girls with light skin will look washed out in pictures? I'm Puerto Rican and Italian, and obviously, so is my sister, but the rest of them are light Irish girls I'm just afraid of them blending with the color of the dress!

Hey we are getting married one day apart! It is so exciting! I was a bit concerned about having a 4th of July weekend wedding bc of traffic issues. But I figure why not make a weekend out of it!

the last one is really nice think the color is champagne.
rachel im good been busy i brought my mother to the hospital last thursday and it was hectic. shes out now and feeling fine. hows the move going? how was the day off? did you check www.theknot.com for dresses they have an awesome selection of all the designers and they tell you what colors they come in and the price of them thats how i got mine

I am a little confused. what do you mean, your colors are white with gold accents? Do you mean your dress? otherwise, why can't you let the Bm color detmine the gold?

I used gold at my wedding and it was spectactular. Not tacky at all, very, very classy if I may say so myself! Be careful since it is hard to find the right gold and some are very yellow. Here is a picture of the back of my sister-in-law's dress as she went down the aisle.

jenny2penny, I mean that everything like the linens, flowers, chair covers, etc, will be white while the placecards, bows on the chairs, candles etc will be gold. We're doing kind of a color theme. I want everything to coordinate. So I am afraid if I do BM dresses in lets say black or what not it will not go with our whole color theme. I'm very set on the white with gold accents, I just think another color for the BMs will over ride that and not add to it.

I like this one - it is very pretty and classy and will look good on anyone especially if they have flaws. I noticed that the ones that gather at the waist slim people down
Ok the pic doesn't work but the one with the girl holding the flowers with the gathered waist!!

I am having the same exact problem. Im getting married December and I think gold with red boks would look amazing. It is tough to find the right gold though. I like the last one you posted. I think Lazaro has a really nice gold color. Let me know what you decide
