Please help me with..................

my monogrammed cake topper with crystals on them

I ordered letters and '&' from www.topthecake.com
and now...........I am lost as on how to put crystals on them. I am sooooooo confused

I do not know where to start...How do I know what size of crystals to buy?? I have no idea what glue to use? Do you put glue on the crystals or on the letters??

I know my questions might sound stupid, but I am sooooooooo not crafty, but I still want to have a beautiful monogram cake topper for my cake

I ordered 3 different sizes... 12, 16 and I foget what else...maybe 20? I ordered them from www.artbeads.com

And I started putting the glue on the crystals but it was a pain in the butt so I just put it on the letters...just make sure it dries clear.

Hi, I think I can help.

Use a q-tip to place the crystals. Just remove the cotton from one end, and dip it in some candle wax. Once the way dries, the wax will pick up the crystals! Just don't press the wax into the crystal too hard. If the crystal gets stuck on the q-tip, use a needle tipped tweezer, or safety pin, to push it off onto the glue.

The best glue to use for this is either GS Hypo cement, or E6000. Both glues dry clear. I used the G-S Hypo cement to make a crystal barrette for my Flower girl. The glue really sticks to the metal, plus, it has a very fine applicator tip. I think it's best for what you want to do. You can get the glues at Michaels, or AC moore.
